Peristeria elata
Commonly called the "Dove Orchid" or the "Holy Ghost Orchid" because of the resemblance to a white dove in the flower, this species is the national flower of Panama. In nature it grows in compost, you can grow them well in pots with a fine mix that will stay evenly moist. On mature plants their pseudobulbs can develop into the size of a grapefruit. Available in 2" pots. This is an endangered species and controlled by CITES regulations.
